The HMD OffGrid meets IP68 standards for water and dust resistance and complies with the MIL-STD-810H military standard, making it resilient to harsh environments. Despite its durability, the device is remarkably lightweight at 60 grams, with dimensions of 9.4 x 6.1 x 1.2 cm. It features a 600 mAh battery capable of providing up to three days of autonomy.
Seamless Operation via App
The device integrates with the HMD OffGrid app, enabling:

- Quick dispatch of pre-set messages with a single button press.
Messages can be sent to any phone number, regardless of whether the recipient has the app. However, recipients must download the app to reply. Additionally, the app offers an SOS feature, connected to the 24/7 multilingual Overwatch x Rescue emergency service by FocusPoint International.
