- 4-5 medium-sized apples (Granny Smith or any tart variety)
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought)
- Butter for dotting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges.

- Roll out your pre-made pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
- Fill the pie crust with the apple mixture, making sure to distribute it evenly. If desired, dot the top with small pieces of butter.
- Cover the pie with the second crust or create a lattice design. Seal the edges and cut small slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the pie crust is golden brown and the apple filling is bubbling.
- Once done, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
