However, Yvette Fielding, a participant in the paranormal show Most Haunted, has identified another unusual sign that might indicate you have an otherworldly guest.
That sign is unexplained water on the floor.
If you notice a mysterious puddle and can’t trace it to a leak or spilled drink, Yvette suggests it could be a spirit making itself known. Fielding is convinced that ghosts sometimes signal their presence in this subtle yet unsettling way, as reported by Mirror.
Besides mysterious water, ghosts are also said to make footsteps or voices audible, knock on walls, and turn electrical devices on and off.
If you feel uneasy about sharing your space with a spectral presence, Fielding recommends addressing the ghost directly. Respectfully ask it to leave, making sure to include the word “please” in your request. You can calmly ask them to avoid frightening you or your loved ones and let them know you’ll seek further help if the disturbances continue.
This approach, Fielding suggests, can sometimes ease the tension and help bring peace back to your home.
