How to Make a Delicious Chicken Broth: Light, Nutritious, and Healthy

There’s nothing better than a warm bowl of chicken broth during the cold autumn-winter months or after indulgent holiday feasts. When festive dishes run out, many instinctively crave something simple, light, and nourishing.

Here’s a step-by-step guide from culinary expert, on crafting the perfect chicken broth.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of chicken breast
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Base

Place a whole peeled onion, whole carrots, chicken breast, and bay leaves into a pot filled with cold water.

Step 2: Begin Cooking

Bring the pot to a boil over medium heat. Once it starts boiling, reduce to a low simmer and carefully skim off the foam that rises to the surface.

Step 3: Season the Broth

After simmering for 1 to 1.5 hours, season the broth with salt and pepper. At this point, you may choose to remove the onion if desired.

Step 4: Final Touch
